Phoenix Pride Crewneck Sweatshirt
$48.99
The Phoenix Pride, based in Phoenix, Arizona, played one season of indoor soccer, 1983-84, after three seasons as the Phoenix Inferno. New owner Bruce Merrill's general manager, Ted Podleski, objected to the old name.
In March 1984 Podleski fired the coach and named himself to the job, though he had never played or coached soccer. The Pride finished 18-30, last in the Western Division. Merrill found no buyer and folded the club in July 1984.
