$48.99
The Memphis Rogues, based in Memphis, Tennessee, played in North America's top pro soccer league from 1978 to 1980 at the Liberty Bowl. The name pointed to a rogue elephant, which the owners wanted as a mascot.
The team went 6-24 in 1979, the league's worst record, then went 9-3 indoors that winter and reached the indoor final. After a 14-18 season in 1980, the franchise was sold and moved to Calgary, Alberta.
