The Scranton Apollos, based in Scranton, Pennsylvania, were the later name of the Scranton Miners, a franchise dating to 1946. They played in the American Basketball League and then the Eastern Basketball Association, mostly at the Scranton CYC building, and took the Apollos name in 1970.

Owner Arthur Pachter ran the club for many years, and Jim Boeheim played for it from 1966 to 1972 and later coached it. Charlie Criss scored an EBA-record 72 points in one game in 1976. Records show league titles in 1950, 1951 and 1976-77. Scranton hosted the 1971 all-star game, and the team folded in 1977.
