Slappey Drive-In Hoodie
The Slappey Drive-In in Albany, Georgia, opened in May 1950 on North Slappey Boulevard, with room for 400 cars. Martin Theatres owned it. The road became the city's cruising strip, and no source says who the Slappey was. The screen tower was a big paneled wall that leaned back on a steep angle.
By January 1977 the bill was Happy Housewives with The Happy Hooker. It closed in 1985, and a photo that year shows the board offering the property for sale. A Wendy's and a Dollar General stand there now.
Printed to order in the USA when you buy it. Standard US shipping is free on orders of $55 or more. Shipping details.
