Uranium Drive-In T-Shirt (Premium Lightweight)
The Uranium Drive-In in Naturita, Colorado, opened on March 13, 1954, with War Paint and Africa Screams. It was a single screen with room for 275 cars near Colorado Highway 97, in an area where uranium mining drove the local economy.
Bill Moore opened it, and Clarence Files, who also ran a drive-in in Grand Junction, took over in 1960. The theater was still advertising in 1976 and was listed through 1988, but no closing date is documented. The restored marquee now stands on the main road through Naturita.
Printed to order in the USA when you buy it. Standard US shipping is free on orders of $55 or more. Shipping details.
