Binghamton Flyers
The Binghamton Flyers, based in Binghamton, New York, were a minor pro team in the Eastern Basketball Association (EBA). They started the 1967-68 season as the Bridgeport (Connecticut) Flyers. After a 1-11 start the team moved to Binghamton.
Results did not improve. The Flyers missed the playoffs in 1967-68, 1968-69 and 1969-70. Swish McKinney set a league record that first season with 1,206 points.
The 1970-71 season began in Binghamton with a 1-6 record and shrinking crowds, and the team moved to Trenton, New Jersey, to finish the year. The combined club ended at 6-22 and folded after the season.
