Hamilton Pat Pavers

The Hamilton Pat Pavers, based in Hamilton, New Jersey, were a franchise in the Eastern Basketball Association, a small league of teams in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and neighboring states. The club began play in the league's first season, 1970-71, as the Trenton Pat Pavers. It moved to Hamilton, just outside Trenton, and took the new name for 1972-73.

The Hamilton years were short. The 1972-73 team went 11-19 and finished sixth in the league. In 1973-74 the Pat Pavers improved to 14-13, beat the East Orange Colonials in the semifinals, and then lost in the division finals. Al Henry led the team in scoring that season.

The franchise does not appear in league records after 1973-74. Little else is documented about the team, its arena or its players.
