Raleigh Bullfrogs

The Raleigh Bullfrogs, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, were a Global Basketball Association (GBA) team for one season, 1991-92. They played at Dorton Arena on the North Carolina State Fairgrounds.

Monte Towe, a former NC State guard, was both head coach and general manager. The Bullfrogs finished 28-35, last in the league's Eastern Division. Lorenzo Charles, Chuck Nevitt, Mike Morrison and Chris Corchiani all spent time on the roster.

The team did not return after that season. The GBA was a short-lived league, and sources give little detail on why Raleigh ended.
